RadianQbio contracted technology transfer with BioNano Health Guard Research Center
On August 7th, RadianQbio announced that there was signing ceremony in BioNano Health Guard Research Center regarding technology transfer contract.
The Multiplex Immunity Diagnosis Micro Fluid Chip manufacturing technology researched and developed jointly by BioNano Health Guard Research Center and Pohang University of Science and Technology, and carried forward by Ministry of Science and ICT is new micro fluid immunity diagnosis platform technology that can provide highly sensitive, rapid, and multiplex analysis on various bio markers.
This technology transfer with RadianQbio's condition is to acquire R&D Patent by transfer. Company claimed development on multiplex-virus detecting devices will be accelerated throughout transfer of technology.
In present immunity POCT market, strip-based rapid kit formed platform were in practice for last decades. It is technology that can provide quantitative analysis on various diseases and phenomenons. However, quantitative/multiplex analysis is necessarily required for further precise diagnosis, therefore development of platform technology that breaks the limit was an urgent matter.
Quantitative multiplex analysis platform development became practicable throughout patented micro fluid original technology and holding on existing rapid kit's user-friendly operation method.
Domestic in vitro diagnosis market is currently 800 million dollar, and global corporations are occupying 60 percent of the market. Domestic corporations are competing against oversea corporations with cheaper products to win price competition.
One of the authority of RadianQbio said that "If we can secure price competitiveness through efficient mass production, we are expecting that it will be possible to enter current 200 billion dollar sized US and China market".
